Re: Kill Your TV!
Tue, September 2, 2008 - 6:38 PMIt is only slightly odd that I'm tuning into tribe on the day that just for fun I look up the infamous "Mad as hell" speech which drove me to find out more about this Howard Beale guy and initiate my interest in watching The Network but I digress...this is one of the best anti-tv speeches I've heard. Oh, and you can watch it. Like a tv.

Mon, December 8, 2008 - 11:55 AMI feel like TV has gotten a lot better, artistically. That said. I never watch what's "on."

Re: Kill Your TV!
Sat, January 3, 2009 - 10:59 AMfunny... I posted "Kill Your Television" on another thread recently! And here it pops up again... LOVE/HATE relationship, eh??
I am trying to avoid "Mad Men" addiction (on my neighbor's HBO & on DVD) ... it has a 'creative director' hero and that's supposedly what I do so trying to learn how to drink at the office, sleep on the floor at the office, tear down your workers and generally learn how to do my job is pretty tempting...
but I do NOT turn on the TV... I turn on the CDs or the radio mostly... Seattle has KEXP and KBCS...

Re: Kill Your TV!
Sat, February 7, 2009 - 10:11 PMI didn't watch tv from 1985 until 1989, then I got married to a tv addict.
She still tried to call me in from the studio to "see something on tv"
